We've been playing around with the Zho recently and wanted some Assault Infantry with a more traditional but high tech Chinese look to them to complement the steam punk Marcovians.
Ben Skinner of Troublemaker Games was good enough to whip up these proposals for us.
The ranks of the Royal Empire Infantry form a massed defence against all who would threaten mankind. Poorly equipped and ill trained, the conscripts fight with a fervour and dedication that belies their humble origins. Few aliens survive underestimating the power of the Royal Empire as it fights to spread the purity of Man across the galaxy.
A typical company will feature 120 infantry.
Pack Contains:
60 Models (24 infantry variant 1, 24 infantry variant 2, 12 sergeants)
Pack Weight:
52 grams
Product Dimensions:
Infantry: 6mm tall
Imperial conscripts fight on many environments across the galaxy, all with differing conditions.
This calls for a variety of weapons. The shotgun is a venerable design still in service. It is small enough to be used with ease in cramped conditions, like the bowels of a starship or when storming buildings for example. It also lives up to the Royal Empire mandate being cheap and easy to build and maintain.
Packs Contains:
2 x Conscript with shotguns (2 variants)
Even the most thrifty of nobles appreciates that slug weapons alone will not always get the job done. Whether it's dealing with hordes at range, taking out armoured vehicles or clearing buildings the conscripts are given the tools they need to get the job done. Whilst not as effective as the Legionaire equipment, it is certainly more cost effective.
This pack contains:
1 x Conscript with a grenade launcher.
1 x Conscript with an rocket launcher
1 x Conscript with a pyrogun
Showcasing the Royal Empire this week, we introduce the conscript snipers.
The best marksmen with in the Imperial infantry are identified and equipped with long ranged sniper rifles.
Pack Contains:
1 x Conscript with Sniper Rifle (kneeling)
1 x Conscript with Sniper Rifle (prone)
Sculpted by Martin Baker and painted by Artmaster Studios.
The khaki and olive green were PhotoShopped by Christian Salling.
As always, let me know your thoughts.
Chaps,
As always, let me know what you think! These Conscripts have been painted by Christian Salling and will be released tomorrow.
Another flipping gorgeous platoon from Christian. The original models were sculpted by Barny Skinner.
I really like the colour scheme, its half way between Imperial Stormtroopers from Star Wars and Pre Heresy World Eaters from Warhammer 40k.
Royal Empire Assault Infantry Platoons are used to shore up Infantry Companys. In comparison to the Conscripts the Assault Infantry are well motivated, armoured and better equipped. Whilst still no match for legionnaires, they provide much needed muscle for the Imperial line.
When not on the battlefield, the Assault infantry operate as elite guards for the nobility.
The pack when sold will contain:
4 Sergeants w/Chainblade and slug pistols.
4 Infantry w/Heavy Sluggers.
4 Infantry w/Cannons.
8 Infantry w/Chainblade and Slug Pistols.
All together now!
"He's behind you!"
By the end of next week we'll be able to start showing off the Tarragin Greens.
It's dark times for the Royal Empire when even their conscripts have been zombified but alas that appears to be the case.
Included are preview sculpts for:
1 x Infantry Sergeant
2 x Snipers
1 x Rifleman
1 x Edenite Conscript Zombie
Behold the WIP shots of the Royal Empire's new artillery crew.
Also included is a family shot of the Wave 2 Imperials.
