28mm Royal Empire Conscript w/Shotgun and second Conscript w/Slug rifle.

Some of you will have seen our first Imperial Conscript in my blog post here http://urbanleadjunkie.blogspot.com/2011/05/28mm-royal-empire-conscript-wslug-rifle.html or will have been following the Empires progress in 6mm.

These are new sculpts, the Imperial Conscripts fight in hordes, an undisciplined rabble equipped with whatever weapons they can lay there hands on. These lucky devils got a shotgun and a slug rifle respectively. Now whilst a shotgun lacks the range of a slug rifle, the extra accuracy it yields at close range makes it worth every penny in an enclosed environment. The additional slug rifle variant is for players who want a ranged attack.

Conscripts with slug rifles may not be able to go 1 on 1 against Legionnaires with their gauss rifles but with numbers on their side they are more than a match.
